Hi, my name is Ruth Clemence. After many creative ideas were swirling around my head in a somewhat stormy fashion, I decided to build The Story Ark. I’m a writer, blogger, reader, mother, and home educator who loves seeing these strands intertwine together. Writing, books, and education.

With over 15 years of writing and blogging experience, being an eager bookworm since I was a tot, and as a homeschooling mum who swims in a literature-rich habitat 24/7,  I bring that enthusiasm to you.

This is where I share the literary delights that I come across for children and grown-ups alike. A rich imagination begins in childhood, but it doesn’t end there.

The Story Ark is a place of refuge and rest where you can explore a variety of books that warm the heart, ignite the imagination, and cultivate connection.
